This position involves a unique blend of technical expertise and leadership abilities. As a GIS architect, you will design and implement complex solutions using Esri and Microsoft technologies.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of GIS infrastructure, application development, and geospatial data management. They will be responsible for leading end-to-end solution design, ensuring scalability, performance, security, and reliability of GIS systems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Architecting and implementing complex GIS solutions
- Leading solution design: infrastructure, application, data integration, and DevOps
- Ensuring scalability, performance, security, and reliability of GIS systems
Requirements:
- 8–12 years of overall experience in GIS, with at least 4 years in architecture roles
- 8+ years of experience with Esri server technologies
- 5+ years with Portal for ArcGIS and related Enterprise components
- Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience in Agile, Scrum, and DevOps methodologies
