Job Title: International Trade Coordinator

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced international trade coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customs and freight policies, procedures, rules, and laws.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Administrative Activities: Execute administrative tasks related to customs and international packages, including contact with internal and external customers.
  2. Package Tracking: Provide current package status updates and basic tracking activities by monitoring shipment movement and interpreting global tracking updates.
  3. Shipping Documentation: Assist customers with the preparation of shipping documentation, including international regulatory information, shipping requests, and special notifications.
  4. Customer Service: Proactively provide customer service using FedEx phraseology to ensure 100% customer satisfaction at the end of each transaction.
  5. Service Failures: Determine the existence of service failures and request refunds within established limits.
  6. Call Center Support: Respond to call center customer inquiries regarding service features, delivery, pickup procedures, release, and payment processes.
Requirements

Education: High School Diploma required.

Experience: Two (2) years of experience in international customs freight/cargo policies, procedures, rules, and laws.

Skills and Qualifications
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Computer Knowledge: General office skills and computer knowledge.
  • Language Skills: Intermediate English for Customs area preferred.
  • Advanced Excel Skills: Proficiency in Advanced Excel skills.
