About the RoleThe Hospitality Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of hospitality services during events. Key responsibilities include:
- Bar Service and Stock Management: Assist with daily bar operations, including serving clients and managing stock take and reporting.
- Event Coordination: Work closely with Hospitality Coordinators to oversee the logistics of hospitality suites during sporting events.
- Reporting and Compliance: Conduct pre- and post-event reporting, including stocktaking and financial tracking, to ensure all activities align with industry standards and company policies.
- Supplier and Team Management: Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and manage the team working during events to ensure a high standard of service delivery.
- Budget Management: Assist in obtaining quotes, setting budgets, and monitoring expenditures related to events, ensuring financial discipline.
This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy interacting with clients. The Hospitality Assistants will work at various events, requiring flexibility to adapt to different venues and schedules, often including evenings and weekends.
RequirementsCandidates interested in this position should possess:
- Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years in the events industry, particularly in stadium suites, is preferred. Experience in hosting events is an added advantage.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license is necessary to facilitate travel to various event locations.
While not mandatory, having a diploma or degree in event management will enhance a candidate's profile. Proven experience in managing hospitality in stadium suites can significantly increase the likelihood of securing the role.
