Export Documentation Specialist

As an Export Documentation Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the export documentation process from start to finish. This includes generating EDI 3.1 files from IRIS 4 to Modall for both export cargo from Brazil and transit cargo from BUE/MVD, as well as submitting cargo manifests to Customs Systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate EDI 3.1 files from IRIS 4 to Modall
  • Submit cargo manifests to Customs Systems
  • Issue Dangerous Cargo Declarations in PSP System after cargo manifests are transferred automatically from Customs System
  • Send load confirmations to customers via Modall System after receiving load lists from Terminal Operators
  • Delete Bill of Lading not loaded in Modall
  • Handle whole transshipment processes for cargoes loaded from Vitoria and Salvador to Abroad
  • Follow-up progress of B/L Ready process with GSC in Dalian to avoid delays in issuing OBL and Copies to Customers
  • Inform each load port that all bills are in status READY in IRIS to enable Unimar Agency issue OBL and Copies
  • Check with terminal or customers for divergences found by GSC during B/L Ready phase (Mainly container declared in SI but not loaded)
  • Update DUE information or insert DUE information manually in Customs System to enable shipper issue Export Certification
  • Inform customer about DUE/RUC not endorsed after 08 running days of vessel departure
  • Issue and/or Release Certificates, when requested, following CBS procedure (RED/GREEN light rule) and verifying discrepancies between CBS and Modall if necessary
