Remote Engineering Opportunity

We're looking for a skilled software engineer to join our team and help drive the development of our cutting-edge telemedicine platform. As a key member of our engineering organization, you'll be responsible for writing high-quality code, contributing to product iteration and development, and helping us deliver a compelling experience to our customers.

We're particularly interested in candidates with experience in public consumer web applications, as well as those who are passionate about men's health and development. If you have a strong background in software development, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to collaboration and teamwork, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain high-quality software features that meet business requirements and improve customer satisfaction.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features, fix bugs, and optimize system performance.

  • Identify and address technical issues and inefficiencies in our systems and processes, working closely with other engineers and stakeholders to implement solutions.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, applying knowledge and best practices to continuously improve our engineering standards and processes.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in product software development, preferably in public consumer web applications.

  • Strong understanding of software development principles, including unit testing, integration testing, and continuous integration.

  • Experience with Ruby-on-Rails, React/Redux, ImmutableJS, GCP, AWS, Postgres, and queue/background processing.

  • Familiarity with or interest in Event Sourcing and other immutability/functional-programming patterns.

  • Prior experience or willingness to participate in pair programming.
