Drive Strategic Tax Planning Initiatives

As a Senior Tax Planning Manager at Amazon Servicos de Varejo do Brasil Ltda., you will play a key role in shaping the company's tax strategy and positioning it for continued success. You will lead a high-performing team of tax specialists in developing comprehensive tax planning solutions tailored to the company's evolving business needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the company's overall tax planning strategy to optimize tax efficiency and minimize tax liabilities.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of the company's operations, transactions, and financial data to identify opportunities for tax savings and planning.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest changes in Brazilian tax laws, regulations, and incentives, and evaluate their impact on the business.
  • Collaborate closely with the accounting, finance, and legal teams to align tax planning with the company's broader business objectives.
  • Prepare detailed tax planning recommendations and proposals, presenting them to senior leadership for approval.
  • Coordinate the implementation of approved tax planning strategies, ensuring proper documentation and execution.
Requirements:
  • Tax experience with a significant amount of time providing technical guidance.
  • Experience in tax, finance, or a related analytical field.
  • Advanced English.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience within a multinational business and either legal or accountancy firm experience.
  • Experience liaising with tax authorities, including responding to audits and information requests.
