FIFA is establishing a local subsidiary in Brazil to deliver the FIFA Women's World Cup 2027. We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee the planning, development, and delivery of infrastructure at training sites across Brazil.

The Position

This role reports to the FWWC27 Head of Infrastructure and Technical Services and serves as a key member of the FIFA27 Tournament Infrastructure team. The successful candidate will ensure all deliverables align with FIFA's exacting standards while optimizing operational efficiency and stakeholder satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the infrastructure delivery strategy for all FWWC2027 training sites, incorporating best practices in venue planning and design management.
  • Coordinate renovations and upgrades, overseeing construction quality and progress to ensure alignment with FIFA's requirements.
  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of overlay and technical service delivery, including scope definition, scheduling, procurement, installation, and handover.
  • Engage with stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and delivery.
  • Implement project controls for budgeting, reporting, and risk mitigation.
  • Ensure sustainability and cultural alignment across all training site environments.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in architectural design, project management, and delivery of international sporting event infrastructure.
  • Proven track record in managing venue delivery and readiness, overlay operations, or major venue infrastructure for events like FIFA World Cup or Olympics.
  • Strong technical expertise in space planning, stakeholder communication, and procurement processes.
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Project Management, Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM 360, MS Project, and other project management tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess and implement effective solutions.
  • Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Driver's license
  • Right to work in Brazil.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Ability to relocate to Rio de Janeiro.
