">Category Procurement Specialist Job Description
">We are seeking a highly skilled Category Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sourcing team, you will be responsible for supporting regional and global sourcing initiatives in close alignment with our IT category strategy.
">Key Responsibilities:
">- ">
Support the development and implementation of regional and global sourcing strategies for IT categories.
">Negotiate agreements with main suppliers and periodically renew pricelists, terms, and conditions.
">Run benchmark studies for the category team and specific sourcing initiatives.
">Create local contract amendments to frame agreements on behalf of countries and update/maintain frame contracts.
">Support regional and global sourcing initiatives within defined categories, working closely with key stakeholders to implement regional category strategies.
">On-board new suppliers in close collaboration with local buyers and run regular supplier evaluations and provide supplier reports to businesses and category managers.
">Run regional sourcing initiatives under defined thresholds, initiate purchase orders in the system according to Purchase Requisitions and standard procedures, and confirm delivery with suppliers, monitor and track supplier performance to purchase order requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
">- ">
Bachelor's Degree in Administration, Engineering, Economy, or relevant field.
">Knowledge of indirect procurement.
">Previous experience dealing with IT contracts and supplier management.
">Advanced knowledge in Excel and Power BI is required.
">Knowledge of Strategic Sourcing is desirable.
">Knowledge of SAP and/or SAP Ariba is an advantage.
">Previous experience with internal clients is desirable.
">Fluent English is necessary.
