Software Engineer Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled software engineer to lead our team in developing complex applications. This individual will have a deep understanding of Typescript programming, software development methodologies and the ability to design, develop and maintain scalable systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Expertise: Exceptional problem solving skills to identify and solve complex technical issues efficiently.
  • Collaboration: Collaborates with cross-functional teams to integrate frontend and backend components seamlessly.
  • Communication: Communicates effectively with team members, stakeholders and non-technical persons and also collaborates well within a team, sharing knowledge and mentoring junior developers.
  • Continuous Learning: Shows a strong commitment to learning and staying up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Technology Requirements
  • Experience: 6+ years of experience as software developer.
  • Skills: Proficient in Typescript, NestJS and Relational and Non-Relational Databases.
  • AWS Experience: 2+ years of experience deploying and running code on AWS Lambda, with hands-on experience using DynamoDB and RDS.
  • Clean Code Principles: Strong understanding of clean code principles and separation of concerns.
  • Testing: Emphasizes the importance of testing, automated testing frameworks and writing unit tests.
  • Software Design: Can design RESTful APIs, architect software systems (taking into consideration scalability, maintainability and performance).
  • Design Patterns: Familiar with design patterns, microservices and other software design principles.
  • DevOps Practices: Familiar with DevOps practices (CI, CD and deployments pipelines). Utilizes tools like Git, Docker, and Kubernetes for development and deployment.
  • Bonus Skills: Experience with Python and/or Kotlin Multiplatform is a plus.
