Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Market Risk Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the trading desk, ensuring all trading transactions and exposures are represented accordingly in our systems, and collaborating with gas and power trading, operations, and sales/origination teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the trading desk in managing market risk
  • Ensure accurate representation of trading transactions and exposures in our systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth


Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Math, Engineering, Economics, Business, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum one year of experience with market risk at a trading business (power trading), banking, or in any work-related field
  • Fluency in both Portuguese and English
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, understanding of financial modeling
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Respect for colleagues, and the ability to work as a part of a team in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
