Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead certification efforts for Uniform Guidance compliance.
  • Serve as a liaison for effort-related aspects of annual Single Audits and federal agency reviews.
  • Support preparation of federal research expenditure reports and data requests.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses of research expenditures, labor distribution, and grant-related payroll.
  • Collaborate with senior directors to develop and implement cost transfer and effort reporting policies.
  • Train and advise research administrators and faculty on effort certification requirements and best practices.
  • Develop data analytics tools and reports for internal decision-making and external reporting.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Deep knowledge of Uniform Guidance (2 CFR Part 200) and related principles.
  • Proven experience in research administration and sponsored project compliance.
  • Strong proficiency in cost accounting principles and analytical methods.
  • Advanced Excel skills for data extraction and analysis.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and present complex data to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
