Poultry Nutrition Expertise
Purpose and Scope
- To formulate and implement nutrition programs that optimize production performance, health, and quality for grandparents, parent stock, and broilers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop feed formulations based on animal science principles and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with production and farm managers to troubleshoot challenges in poultry production.
- Conduct research and development of innovative poultry nutrition solutions in conjunction with cooperative research teams.
- Stay up-to-date on changing industry information by attending conferences, trade shows, and reading industry publications.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Master's Degree (Ph.D. preferred) in Animal Science or Nutrition.
- At least 5 years of commercial/integrator poultry nutrition experience.
- Strong knowledge of poultry production practices and practical experience in livestock production and feed manufacturing is required.
