Job Title: Business Area Manager Clinical Services

We are seeking an experienced Business Area Manager to lead our Clinical Services team in Brazil. The successful candidate will be responsible for all activities within the business, focusing on financial performance and driving a healthy culture that retains employees and fosters their growth.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Direct and coordinate activities of a cross-functional team, measuring business performance regularly and ensuring achievement of goals and objectives.
  • Objective Setting: Recommend and define objectives for each area of responsibility, develop short-term and long-range plans, and support budget requests and financial estimates.
  • Financial Management: Evaluate margin and profitability for the business and take appropriate actions to optimize these metrics where possible.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Review and approve plans for operations, quality, budget spending, capital improvements, customer service, and human resources, ensuring Business Unit regulatory compliance for warehousing and transportation of pharmaceutical products.
  • Quality and Customer Focus: Drive a quality mindset within the business, ensure resources and processes support high-quality delivery, and foster and maintain a customer-focused culture throughout the business.
  • Commercial Activities: Lead commercial activities, including sales and marketing, to deliver profitable growth, and work closely with customers on initiatives to ensure mutually satisfying development, implementation, and execution.
  • Leadership and Development: Provide leadership through effective communication, coaching, training, and development, direct, monitor, and appraise the performance of direct reports, recommending or providing training and development where necessary.
