Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Analyst to play a pivotal role in safeguarding our business against financial crime and ensuring compliance with global regulatory standards.

About the Job

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional with a strong background in AML, KYC, and financial crime risk management. If you have a minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance, audit, or risk management, with demonstrable experience in financial crime prevention, ideally within the payments industry or similarly regulated environments, then this could be the perfect fit for you.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct ongoing Anti-Money Laundering (AML), sanctions screening, and Know Your Customer (KYC) due diligence checks, ensuring compliance with international regulations.
  • Carry out thorough risk assessments for new clients, vendors, products, and market entries.
  • Implement and maintain agile compliance risk management systems aligned with Paymentology's risk requirements as well as legal requirements.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records and reports on compliance activities.
  • Prepare detailed documentation for senior management, regulatory bodies, and other key stakeholders to demonstrate the strength of our compliance controls.
  • Ensure that day-to-day operations adhere to relevant compliance standards and policies.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance, audit, or risk management, with demonstrable experience in financial crime prevention, ideally within the payments industry or similarly regulated environments.
  • Strong understanding of the global regulatory landscapes and industry standards, including AML, CFT, KYC, sanctions screening, and Anti-Corruption regulations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite, with strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills to address compliance issues and reach consensus.
