Senior Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead our finance and tax ERP implementation projects. As the project leader, you will oversee the entire lifecycle of these complex projects, with a focus on delivering high-quality results while ensuring seamless integration with multiple satellite systems, applications, and interfaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, execute, monitor, and close ERP projects from start to finish.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, adhering to PMP standards.
  • Manage integrations with various systems and ensure smooth data flow.
  • Identify, mitigate, and resolve project issues and risks in a proactive manner.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders across finance, tax, IT, and external vendors.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager with a proven track record of driving global initiatives in multinational environments.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes and systems within a large ERP context.
  • Familiarity with PMP/PMI project management methodologies and governance frameworks.
  • Full professional fluency in Portuguese is mandatory; English is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Brazilian Tax System and practical understanding of the ongoing Brazil Tax Reform implications.
  • Direct experience working with finance and tax teams based in Brazil.
