About the Job:
We are seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions for our clients.
You will work closely with customers to understand their business needs and provide tailored solutions using Red Hat cloud offerings, including OpenShift Container Platform, Ansible Tower, and Kubernetes-based technologies.
- Assess, design, and implement cloud infrastructure solutions
- Leverage container orchestration, registries, build strategies, cloud storage, and software-defined networks
- Manage problem identification, system architecture definition, software specification and design, testing, and deployment of complex open source solutions
- Adapt to changing customer requirements
- Respond to incidents, escalations, and exceptions in a professional manner
- Deliver quality results on time and within scope
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or MBA
- 3+ years of experience with Linux system administration, preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or a derivative
- 2+ years of experience working with Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry, Docker, or any other Container and PaaS-related technologies
- 2+ years of scripting or programming experience
- Knowledge of system management, including installation, custom channels, deploying virtualized systems, basic client-based security, repositories, and creating core builds
