Job Title: Senior General Counsel

The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to the LATAM business strategy, driving the management of legal initiatives through practical and proactive advice.

  • Ensure timely and effective legal solutions for the LATAM Business Area Office, encompassing contract management, corporate governance, and competition law.
  • Act as a value-adding advisor and business partner on selected business units and projects driven by the LATAM Business Area, ensuring efficient alignment of legal activities, procedures, and best practices throughout LATAM.
  • Lead and improve contract management in the Business Area Office, as well as aspects of product security, fostering efficiency and alignment with internal policies.
  • Serve as Data Protection Responsible for the LATAM office, driving data protection agenda and risk management.
  • Manage high-quality people management for LATAM Legal positions, while being an active member of key strategic groups in LATAM, EM, and IO, providing valuable contributions.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in law and admission to the legal profession. Master Level Degree in Law is a plus.
  • Minimum of 9 years of experience as a legal advisor in international companies or law firms, with a strong preference for candidates with a corporate background.
  • Demonstrates solid business acumen and effectively interacts with executive and senior management and external partners.
  • Nice to have: Leadership experience, as well as fluency in Spanish or Portuguese.
