Healthcare Specialist

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to various healthcare initiatives, working closely with national authorities and other stakeholders to promote access to quality healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate in the planning, implementation, and monitoring of health programs and projects at federal, state, and municipal levels.
- Support national authorities in defining and implementing programs to improve access and quality of healthcare, focusing on vulnerable populations and intercultural diversity.
- Provide technical cooperation to the Ministry of Health in analyzing primary health problems and defining effective control strategies linked to social determinants and inequities.
- Facilitate communication and inter-programmatic work, strengthening links between the Organization and intersectoral teams.
A bachelor's degree in health economics, health-related sciences, management, or social sciences from a recognized university is required. Postgraduate studies in topics related to public health, health economics, social sciences, international relations, public administration, or health management are desirable.
Five years of national experience in the area of health economics, health systems, including technical cooperation in institutions concerned with public health management or evaluation of health systems and services is essential. Experience in international technical cooperation in institutions concerned with health financing and economics, monitoring, and evaluation of health systems and services is desirable.
