Automation Systems Specialist

This role is ideal for a professional with experience in executing engineering projects in the mining and steel sectors. You will be responsible for working on automation systems, ensuring they meet the required specifications and are implemented correctly.

About the Role:
  • You will work on various projects throughout the conceptual, basic, and detailed phases.
  • You will participate in the creation and review of project documents related to instrumentation and automation.
  • You will collaborate with other disciplines to ensure seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze vendor drawings to identify technical issues.
  • Provide technical support for on-site implementation.
Requirements:
  • Experience in executive engineering projects in the Mining and Steel sectors;
  • Proficiency in 3D modeling in an integrated environment (BIM);
  • Knowledge of control systems (DCS/PLC and SCADA);
  • Experience with instrumentation and industrial automation in the mining sector;
  • Desirable: Experience in project implementation;
  • Intermediate English;
  • Intermediate Spanish;
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD / Volo View, Revit, Navis, and Plant3D;
  • Desirable: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or holding a completed Technical degree in Automation or Industrial Instrumentation.
