Job Description

The Facilities Management Specialist is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of company facilities, including infrastructure and support services.

This role involves various activities related to building administration, preventive maintenance, outsourcing services control, and supporting operational needs across departments.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Facility Monitoring: Track and conduct periodic inspections to identify repair or maintenance needs.
  • Outsourcing Services Control: Assist in managing and inspecting services provided by external companies, such as cleaning, security, gardening, etc.
  • Logistical Support: Provide assistance in internal logistics activities, like organizing layout changes, handling spaces, and supporting corporate events.
  • Equipment Control: Monitor and manage equipment and tools usage, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Documentation Management: Maintain up-to-date records and documentation, including contracts, technical manuals, work orders, and maintenance reports.
  • Employee Service: Offer service to employees, responding to requests and ensuring infrastructure needs are met efficiently.
  • Sustainability Initiatives: Promote sustainable practices and resource-efficient operations in facility management.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (preferably).
  • Basic knowledge of building maintenance, facilities services, and contract management.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organizational skills, proactivity, and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with facilities management tools will be an asset.
  • Negotiation skills.
