About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Talent Manager to oversee a team of consultants and manage their scheduling, performance management, and professional development. This role will involve proactively engaging with consultants to understand their strengths, development objectives, personal preferences, and career goals.

The successful candidate will be able to balance the needs of the business with the individual needs of each consultant to deliver optimal staffing and talent management outcomes. They will work in a collaborative environment with other teams to achieve this goal.

Key Responsibilities

  • Talent Management: Engage consultants on development needs and areas for training, develop relationships with each consultant, and assist in directing them towards resources for career advice.
  • Project Staffing: Understand project requirements, collect relevant details from project leaders, anticipate capacity issues, and communicate staffing outcomes to consultants.
  • Consultant Development and Performance Management: Coordinate training, read performance appraisals, and follow up on issues or performance flags.
  • Data, Analysis, and Reporting: Review utilization reports, assemble project pipelines, and prepare documents for senior leadership meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in client services, preferably in management consulting or Human Resources.

Skills and Attributes

  • Proven ability to establish relationships at all levels within an organization.
  • Credible and highly professional, with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Comfortable working with data and enterprise resource management software.
