Senior Product Development Engineer

We are seeking a skilled professional to develop customer products from concept through to mass production.
This role requires proactive requirements and risk management for all technical aspects, ensuring seamless execution of customer specifications, cost targets, design-to-manufacture and timing goals.
Responsibilities- Develop customer products with expertise in product design, engineering systems, DFMEA, CAD/CAE & simulation, materials & components, GD&T, D/FMA, quality & process tools and problem solving skills.
- Act as technical liaison between product development teams and customers, internal functions and other departments.
- Supervise product testing, including hazardous substances handling and test result interpretation.
- Plan and control technical issues for flawless launches.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a comparable education.
- Strong experience in the automotive industry.
- Blow molding product design knowledge, including welding and assembly is a strong plus.
- Fluent Portuguese and English required.
