Key Responsibilities

Caterpillar is seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to join their global team. This role involves leading process validation efforts across Medium Wheel Loader programs, driving improvements through collaboration and troubleshooting.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for partnering with factories to validate components and machines at every stage of the manufacturing process, ensuring top-tier performance.

Additionally, this position requires owning the structure and strategy for the Product Software Programming System, guiding how and when Electronic Control Modules are flashed and configured during assembly.

  • Manage global flashing success for new product introductions and offerings, making sure every Medium Wheel Loader rolls out with precision.
  • Take charge of test instructions and coordinate Elek groups to keep validation aligned and efficient.

The successful candidate will drive targeted in-process validation projects that elevate machine quality and customer satisfaction.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • Pre-advanced English.
  • Demonstrated technical excellence in engineering, with a strong foundation in mechanical systems and manufacturing, heavy equipment or construction processes.
  • Proficiency in computer-aided design and engineering tools, with experience creating and refining complex models and assemblies.
