Study Start Up Associate Ii Job Description

As a Study Start Up Associate II, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful execution of clinical trials. Your primary responsibility will be to draft, review, and negotiate clinical trial agreements with study sites. This will involve critical thinking, effective communication, and attention to detail to ensure that all agreements are finalized in a timely manner.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in clinical contracts and budget negotiation, as well as excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office tools. You should also be proficient in electronic signature systems and have fluent English skills. A Bachelor's degree is required for this position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drafts, reviews, negotiates, and finalizes clinical trial agreements, complex amendments, and other ancillary agreements with study sites.
  • Maintains consistent communication with study sites and internal stakeholders in alignment with site contracts department and client requirements.
  • Tracks progress of site contracts agreements and related documents regularly in required ICON and client systems.
  • Proactively identifies and raises risks, while also suggesting mitigation plans to established study milestones and planned site contracts timelines.
  • Files contractual documents as per department, ICON, and client requirements.
  • Attends and participates in study team project calls, as applicable.
  • Works cross functionally with internal stakeholders in support of timely site start up and maintenance for the conduct of clinical trials.
  • Reviews site contracts for completeness and accuracy and ensures adherence to department and client requirements.
  • Completes all required project, client, department, and ICON trainings on time.

Requirements:

  • Complete Bachelor's Degree.
  • Strong experience or understanding of clinical contracts & budgets negotiation with sites.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft office pack tools.
  • Experience with electronic signature systems.
  • Fluent English – Communication, Writing and Reading.
