Employee Relations Manager Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of labor laws and regulations in Brazil, as well as experience in conducting workplace investigations.

This role is crucial for cultivating a fair, legally compliant, and positive work environment. The ER Manager will act as a strategic partner to our leadership and a key resource for our HR team.

As an Employee Relations Manager, you will be responsible for providing guidance and strategic advice on complex employee relations matters. You will lead and manage the end-to-end investigation workflow for all employee-related incidents not related to the code of ethics and other specific compliance investigations.

Additionally, you will conduct annual risk mapping to proactively identify and manage labor-related risks. You will analyze collective bargaining trends, regulatory changes, and employee sentiment to propose and manage mitigation plans.

This role requires excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. You must be able to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment and have the ability to fluently speak English.

Responsibilities include:

  • Labor Relations and Advisory: Serve as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert on all employee relations matters for management, HR Business Partners (HRBPs), and other stakeholders.
  • Investigations and Compliance: Lead and manage the end-to-end investigation workflow for all employee-related incidents not related to the code of ethics and other specific compliance investigations.
  • Risk Management: Conduct annual risk mapping to proactively identify and manage labor-related risks.
  • Union and Collective Bargaining: Act as the company's primary representative and point of contact for all union-related matters.
  • Policy and Process Management: Ensure mandatory labor law compliance and translate it into implementation of policies and guidelines.
  • Training and Development: Develop and deliver training for managers on best practices in employee relations.
