Grants and Subgrants Operations Executive

The Grants and Subgrants Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with funder requirements throughout the grant management cycle. This key position has a matrix line to the Program, closely collaborating with the team for effective grant and subgrant management.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the Brazil Program grant and associated subgrants, including conducting thorough due diligence and risk assessments of subgrantees.
Ideal candidates possess significant experience in grant and project management, robust expertise in working with downstream partners/subgrantees and subgrant management, as well as exceptional analytical, organisational, and planning skills.
Responsibilities:- Support the Brazil's Mutirão for CHAMP, focusing on ensuring compliance with C40 and funder requirements
- Review and negotiate grant agreements in coordination with programme and finance teams
- Manage assigned subgrants, including conducting due diligence and risk assessment of subgrantees
- Ensure consistent implementation of subgrant processes and procedures, providing support to the Programme team across the subgrant management cycle
- Support the Programme team in monitoring subgrants, including review of reports
- Significant experience in grant and project management
- Robust experience in working with downstream partners/subgrantees and subgrant management
- Experience in conducting due diligence processes
- Experience working with philanthropic, institutional, and/or corporate funders
