**Job Summary**: Bodorlaser, Inc is a leading manufacturer of laser cutting machinery. We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to customers and ensuring the optimal performance of our laser machines.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Assist customers with troubleshooting and repair of laser machine mechanical and electrical issues

• Manage technical issues and incoming requests from customers

• Schedule and follow up with customers to ensure they are optimizing the use of our lasers

• Perform mechanical repairs on laser machines at customer locations

• Develop and maintain a parts list and ensure parts are in stock

• Identify safety issues on machines and provide customer training

• Write and compose service reports and expense reports

• Perform failure mode analyses and make upgrade recommendations

• Assist with the final integration and commissioning of complex automation projects

• Regular travel within assigned territories

**Requirements:**

• Associate degree in mechatronic, automation engineering, mechanical/electrical engineering or equivalent

• 2+ years' experience on automated CNC machines

• Familiar with engineering software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and remote communications

• Ability to work under pressure and lift 50 lbs

**Preferred Qualifications:**

• Bachelor's Degree in mechatronic, automation engineering, or electrical engineering from an accredited university

• 5+ years' related experience on automated CNC machines
