You will play a key role in designing and developing cutting-edge cloud technologies.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a talented team of individuals creating efficient, safe, and responsive environments that make a real difference in people's lives. You will be responsible for:

  • Designing and developing RESTful APIs for cloud services using AWS and industry best practices;
  • Ensuring the APIs are secure, scalable, performant, well-documented, and adhere to best practices;
  • Documenting the APIs using tools such as Swagger or OpenAPI;
  • Collaborating with other software developers and product owners to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet or exceed expectations;
  • Troubleshooting and resolving any issues related to the APIs or the cloud infrastructure;
  • Providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers;
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in AWS and cloud computing, continuously improving software design and development processes;
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a relevant field;
  • 5+ years of experience in software design and development;
  • 3+ years of experience in working with AWS services, especially Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, Terraform, etc.;
  • Strong programming skills with experience in Node.js, Python, Golang, and Angular;
  • Strong understanding in SOA architectures;
  • Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs using AWS or other platforms;
  • Experience in using tools such as Swagger or OpenAPI for API documentation;
  • Experience in using tools such as Git, Gitlab CI/CD or Jenkins for version control and continuous integration;
  • Experience in using tools such as Postman or Curl for API testing;
  • Excellent communication and moderation skills in English, with the ability to produce high-quality written documentation;
  • A solution-oriented and independent working style, with the ability to mentor and guide other team members;
  • Working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban;
  • Excellent people and project management skills;
  • Strong communication and presentation skills;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
