">About The Position">

The Clinical Specialist promotes commercially approved products through procedure coverage and proper patient selection. This role provides clinical education and support with responsibilities including:

  • Providing ongoing clinical support, which may involve candidacy criteria, procedure support, post-procedure follow-up, difficult case management, PI and IFU adherence, and ongoing education.
  • Serving as a primary resource for clinical support in areas of troubleshooting, mapping, and patient follow-up for company products.
  • Ensuring timely collection and reporting of all required medical documentation pertaining to procedural device operation using corporate-issued tracking procedures.
  • Following company guidelines for managing commercial inventory and, if applicable, investigational product inventory.
  • Responding to customer needs regarding products and service by developing feasible solutions or working with other related personnel (e.g., sales, clinical research, marketing, technical support) to develop optimal solutions.
  • Developing relationships with hospital, lab, and office personnel and identifying key decision-makers to facilitate future sales.
  • Assisting in professional education activities sponsored by the company by educating customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of products via presentations and demonstrations.
  • Recognizing opportunities to present competitive information to support sales activities in the region.
  • Assisting or acting as Field Mentor when asked in training and educational needs of incoming field personnel.
  • Evaluating, educating, and holding HCPs accountable on the correct use of Varithena products in the CVI disease state.
  • Facilitating the adoption of Varithena through education and awareness with RVTs.
  • Ability to travel extensively (30-40%).
  • Assisting the medical team, sales force, and management team with continuous learning opportunities related to the disease state and procedure protocols for company products.
  • Maintaining current CRM records.
  • Optimizing time and efficiency within a large geographic area to maximize impact and results.
">Key Responsibilities">

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferably in a health field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the medical device industry as a clinical specialist or equivalent.
  • Credentialed as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT).
  • Experience in assisting a physician with Vein Procedures.
  • Proven ability to work independently and externally to the company for the majority of the time.
  • Effective communication of site-related information, including product performance for potential product complaints, the planning and execution of meetings and presentations.
  • A working knowledge of GMP, ISO 13485 & MDD requirements.
