Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned software engineer contractor to join our remote team. As a key contributor, you will leverage your technical expertise to deliver high-quality code for moderately to highly complex projects.
As a Senior Software Engineer Contractor, you will be responsible for designing and developing software solutions aligned with technical and business objectives. You will write, optimize, and maintain efficient code, including enhancing existing codebases.
You will also design and implement automated End-to-End (E2E) tests to ensure feature stability. Additionally, you will participate in pre-release feature reviews and conduct initial post-release bug ticket analysis.
Our ideal candidate has 5–8 years of software engineering experience, with a proven track record on complex projects. They should have proficiency in C# ASP.NET (.NET 8) for web applications and APIs, as well as experience with .NET MAUI and Blazor Web Application (.NET 8) for mobile and web development.
The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, strong communication skills for remote collaboration, and the ability to work independently and within a collaborative team.
They should also be familiar with healthcare software or Protected Health Information standards, and have experience with pull request reviews and sprint participation.
