Job Summary

A Financial Accountant is sought to assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy of financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting:
    • Prepare and review financial statements for accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
    • Identify and address any discrepancies or errors in financial reporting.
  • Accounting Operations & Reconciliations:
    • Manage general ledger entries and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
    • Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Internal Controls & Audit:
    • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.
    • Assist in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Tax Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and accounting standards.
    • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Analyze and improve accounting processes and systems to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
    • Assist in implementing new accounting software or upgrades.
  • Ad-hoc Financial Analysis:
    • Prepare special reports and financial analysis as requested by senior management.
    • Provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum 0-2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and systems.
