Senior Controls Design Engineer

The Train Control Engineer will play a pivotal role in the development of the Locomotive Control System by executing projects from initial conception through to final delivery. The engineer will design, integrate and validate train control subsystem functions for locomotives suitable for application in both English and non-English speaking environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- To identify and capture requirements to execute controls design and implementation
- To lead/support investigations for root cause identification and resolution of reliability issues
Required Skills and Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is required. Proven experience in an engineering position, with expertise in controls/software design, diagnostics, and testing, is essential. Strong English technical writing and communication skills are also necessary.
Experience with MATLAB Simulink or other modeling tools is preferred.
