Senior Control Systems Leader

Our team is seeking an exceptional Control Systems Engineer to lead and direct the development of control system enhancements and new feature development for a wide range of locomotives and marine engine systems.
The ideal candidate will have a strong professional background in engineering design or research and development, with expertise in engine/powertrain systems, electrical systems/controls modeling, and/or control systems engineering. Key responsibilities will include defining engine and electric drivetrain control feature/diagnostics requirements and documentation, ensuring risk identification and mitigation at product or project level, and executing cross-functional technical projects using sound engineering principles.
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage with a broad range of product and technical experts to improve design, tools, and process capability. You will work closely with senior engineers, systems and subsystem engineering, program management, commercial teams, simulation, software, and hardware teams to apply advanced controls techniques/methods/tools to meet challenging requirements.
