Software Engineer - Data Analyst

We are seeking highly skilled professionals to fill a critical role in our team. As a software engineer and data analyst, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining Python-based applications and services focusing on data analysis and visualization.

Your primary goal will be to create interactive, real-time dashboards and visualizations with Plotly and Dash. Additionally, you will write Python code using NumPy and Pandas for efficient data manipulation and analysis.

In this position, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. You will also optimize and refactor existing code for improved performance and scalability.

Troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving application issues will be a key part of your responsibilities. Staying updated with the latest trends in data visualization and Python development is essential for success in this role.

The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 2 years of software development experience is required, along with excellent English communication skills.

A strong proficiency in Python programming is necessary, as well as extensive experience with NumPy and Pandas. Hands-on experience in creating interactive visualizations is also crucial. Familiarity with web frameworks such as Flask and Django is desired.

A solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and statistical analysis is necessary. Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and cloud environments such as AWS and GCP is a plus. Knowledge of version control tools like Git is also important.

A problem-solving mindset with analytical and debugging skills is essential for this role. Oil and Gas industry experience, machine learning framework experience, and database systems knowledge are all beneficial qualifications.
