Job Description
  • Infrastructure Engineering Professional

In this role, you will design platforms, servers, and technologies that enable us to serve customers, clients, and businesses worldwide.

You will oversee the installation, configuration, testing, and support of robust IBM Power infrastructure, ensuring continuous system tuning and analysis.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  1. BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
  2. Technical expertise throughout the software development lifecycle including design, implementation, and delivery
  3. Advanced knowledge of Unix Shell scripts, Python, Ansible automation etc.,
  4. Experience in handling IBM Power hardware and related products
  5. Expertise in AIX Operating System Maintenance
  6. Expertise in PowerVM, VIOS, Power Firmware and HMC Maintenance
  7. Expertise in GPFS Maintenance
  8. Systems Management agents/tools Maintenance and testing
  9. Familiarity with open-source development model of project coordination and related tools, for bug tracking and source code control
  10. Knowledge of security-related technologies, as pertains to system lockdown, Cyber protection, and authentication/entitlement/encryption technologies
  11. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with clear communication
  12. Strong quality assurance & system and performance testing experience
  13. Technical writing & documentation skills
  14. Ability to collaborate with different roles to achieve common goals
  15. Understanding cloud, virtualization, APIs, and modern software languages
