Business Role Summary

  • We seek a Business Analyst to contribute to the success of our organization.
  • Key Responsibilities will include gathering business requirements from stakeholders, demonstrating strong skills in collecting and documenting requirements, leading collaborative design sessions, evaluating current business processes, anticipating requirements, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • The successful candidate will work effectively with teams at all organizational levels to drive decision-making and present clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Create comprehensive business requirement documents and convert them into precise functional specifications.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide ongoing assistance to ensure solutions meet stakeholder needs.
  • Develop visualized workflows to effectively communicate and clarify requirements.
  • Collect and author software requirements and test specifications in collaboration with technical teams.
  • Prepare thorough system and user documentation to support training and adoption.
  • Maintain continuous involvement in software projects from initiation through deployment and adoption.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of Business Analyst experience in the biotech industry.
  • At least 1 year of experience working with scientific data systems such as Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN), etc.
  • Excellent English communication skills around technical and non-technical topics.
  • Experience with Project Management/planning tools, such as JIRA.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Biotechnology, Life Science, Chemistry, or equivalent.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Smartsheet.
  • Strong ownership and ability to see assignments through to completion based on agreed-upon deadlines.
  • Highly organized, independently driven, results-oriented, and a quick learner.
