We are seeking a seasoned Java developer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex backend applications with a strong focus on scalability, performance, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop scalable backend applications developed in Java / Spring Framework.
  • Evaluate and enhance application performance within a microservices architecture.
  • Collaborate with product managers to understand requirements and translate them into reliable solutions.
  • Contribute to software development processes to model complex applications.
  • Define APIs for a world-class product.
  • Participate in code reviews ensuring best practices in backend development.
  • Create technical documentation to clearly communicate backend architecture and API design.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Proven experience (8+ years) in backend development using Java.
  • Proficiency in Spring Framework.
  • Experience in coding reviews and managing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience implementing authentication mechanisms.
  • Experience with version control and project management systems.
  • Experience with databases.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Prior experience in an early-stage startup environment.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • English - Advanced reading, comprehension, and writing.
