
Software Sales Professional for Cloud Solutions

We are seeking a highly skilled sales professional to excel in our cloud software ecosystem. This is a mid-senior level role requiring expertise in Linux and exceptional negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Developing a deep understanding of Linux and cloud software ecosystem
- Negotiating contracts and commercial business terms
- Building strategic relationships with customers and partners
- Owning the strategy and development of sales engagements
- Growing customer awareness of open source capabilities on Canonical Ubuntu
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of achieving outstanding revenue results in the technology industry, with experience in open source and Linux. They will possess excellent academic credentials, written and spoken English skills, and be comfortable working in a multicultural organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Delivering on targets, objectives, and providing a voice of the partner and/or customer
- Traveling domestically and internationally to drive partnerships
- Aligning and supporting internal Field teams to identify, grow, and transact
- Collaborating with Marketing, Sales Engineering, and Product Management to deliver on targets and provide a voice of the partner and/or customer
