Tax Senior Specialist Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced tax professional to fill this senior role. This temporary position requires strong expertise in Brazilian tax legislation to support our tax operations.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing periodic tax filings (municipal, state, and federal).
  • Conducting monthly internal audit controls.
  • Supporting monthly tax closing processes.
  • Supporting quarterly closing for the preparation of the tax package to headquarters.
  • Analyzing and applying current Brazilian tax regulations.
  • Staying up-to-date on Brazil's ongoing tax reform.
  • Identifying opportunities for tax optimization.
  • Managing tax audits and reviews.
  • Preparing tax reports and summaries for management.
  • Coordinating with external advisors and tax authorities.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in tax in Brazil.
  • Fluent English (spoken and written) is required. Spanish is a plus.
  • Advanced knowledge of Brazilian tax legislation.
  • Strong understanding of Brazil's tax reform.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and digital tools.
