Junior Accountant Role Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Junior Accountant to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities.

The Junior Accountant will be responsible for performing various financial tasks, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and analyzing financial data. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles, procedures, and regulations. Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel is an asset. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare monthly journal entries and reconcile key balance sheet accounts
  • Perform month-end close procedures in accordance with internal control requirements
  • Analyze and document Income Statement and Balance Sheet fluctuations
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and summaries as required
Requirements:
  • Graduated Public Accountant or about to finish the career (last year)
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Previous experience with ERP systems (Oracle/HFM/SAP) is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English and Spanish)
