Financial Operations Specialist

The role involves overseeing financial deliverables and analysis for enterprise-wide initiatives. This individual will support various projects, maintain strong financial controls, and report to a senior controller.
- Oversee accounting, forecasting, and planning activities for expenses and capital expenditures.
- Develop and maintain efficient processes and controls.
- Develop and maintain tracking of financial metrics for internal business partners; coordinate and deliver monthly reporting to key stakeholders.
- Support the controller with insights and analysis for executive leadership materials.
- Supervise and develop analysts.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 5-7 years of accounting and/or financial analysis.
- Advanced skills in Excel (including vlookups, pivot tables, building and maintaining models).
- Demonstrated ability in variance analysis, reconciliations, month-end, and forecasting.
- Ability to drive change and standardize process and procedure.
- Proficiency in English (verbal and written).
- Strong financial acumen with a background in accounting.
- Self-motivated with ability to efficiently organize and prioritize competing priorities.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to navigate matrix organizations and varying stakeholders.
- Supervisor experience preferred but not required.
- Potential to grow beyond the current role.
