Job Title: Senior Airport Operations Manager

Are you ready to take your career to new heights at American Airlines? As a Senior Airport Operations Manager, you will oversee all aspects of airport operations, ensuring seamless customer service, safety, security, and performance excellence.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the performance of airport staff and contracted personnel across customer services, ticketing, operations, baggage handling, ramp, catering, and security.
  • Manage staff schedules, training, performance appraisals, audits, and financial wellbeing to ensure all personnel are aligned with company goals and compliance standards.
  • Motivate employees and align them with organizational goals, driving the achievement of station performance/service targets and company-wide objectives.
  • Participate in employee hiring, promotions, discharges, and transfers to ensure that the team is appropriately staffed to meet operational needs and company goals.
  • Build strong relationships with partners to enhance service quality and ensure a seamless end-to-end customer experience.
  • Negotiate contracts and maintain strong partnerships with contractors, suppliers, and airport authorities to ensure the best service standards and operational efficiency.
  • Compile reports on operational irregularities, service disruptions, or failures, providing suggestions for corrective action and presenting findings to senior management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related fields.
  • Proven 5+ years of experience working in an international environment.
  • Fluently read, write, and speak in English.
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related fields (preferred).
