Site Construction Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Construction Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing on-site construction activities to ensure work is completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with project teams to ensure efficient execution of construction activities.
  • Manage materials and documentation to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality requirements.
  • Inspect work progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement risk assessments and method statements.
  • Monitor procurement schedules and follow up on deliveries.
  • Control approved drawings and as-built documentation.
  • Report progress, delays, and site issues to senior management.
  • Support testing, commissioning, and project close-out documentation.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of project site experience, ideally within construction or data center solutions environments.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of contract specifications, QA/QC, HSE, and programme controls.
  • Proven ability to manage materials, documentation, and productivity on fast-track projects.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and pressure-handling skills; proactive mindset.
  • Familiarity with BIM-enabled field tools or lean construction principles.
