About the Role

Stryker do Brazil Lda is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Orthopedic Robotics Specialist to join our team in Brazil. As a key member of our sales and marketing team, you will be responsible for training and developing Stryker customers and employees to support MAKO business growth and market penetration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Train and Develop Customers and Employees: Provide comprehensive training and support to Stryker customers and employees to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively use MAKO products.
  • Launch New Accounts: Identify and launch new accounts across Belo Horizonte, Brazil, to drive business growth and market penetration.
  • Provide Clinical Expertise: Serve as a MAKO clinical expert and provide product clinical support and guidance to customers.
  • Prepare Pre-Operative CT Scans: Use proprietary software to prepare pre-operative CT scans for use in conjunction with the company's Robotic Arm, assisting surgeons in preoperative robotic procedure surgical planning.
  • Sell Clinical Benefits: Actively sell the clinical benefits of MAKO products and build strong, positive relationships with key surgeons and Theatre staff at Stryker accounts.
  • Develop Training Programs: Support the development and delivery of training and education programs for Stryker employees and regional customers on MAKO products.
  • Collaborate with Regional Teams: Collaborate with regional training teams in communications and negotiations with government and professional bodies to ensure the accreditation of courses as needed.
  • Support Sales and Marketing Efforts: Support regional sales and marketing efforts through the delivery of road-show product demonstrations and participation in local and regional marketing and clinical conferences.
Requirements
  • Technical Degree: Technical degree and/or bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, Surgical Instrumentalist, or other Healthcare related area.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English is required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in the hospital and surgical environment, highly experienced in clinical and surgical support, comfortable in Operating Room environment and guidance of surgeons and clinical staff.
  • Training and Education: Able to develop and deliver training and education programs.
  • Technical Skills: Demonstrated aptitude in technical skills and technology systems and administrative procedures (e.g. ERP software, Office Suite, the processing and record management).
  • Travel: Availability to travel and flexible hours.
