IoT Solutions Architecture Role

The IoT Solutions Architecture Manager is responsible for leading a team of Field engineers in Presales and Professional Services activities. They help customers with solution architecture, design, and delivery.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop a team of Field engineers in Presales and Professional Services.
  • Develop and implement solutions to customer problems by promoting our technologies and being a trusted advisor.
  • Work remotely in a single major time zone.
  • Coach, mentor, and offer career development feedback to team members.
  • Identify and measure team health indicators.
  • Implement disciplined engineering processes to ensure high-quality results.
  • Represent the team and product to stakeholders, partners, and customers.
  • Develop and evangelize great engineering and organizational practices within the company.
  • Plan and manage progress on agreed goals and projects.
Requirements:
  • Exceptional academic track record from high school and university.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • Extensive experience with embedded Linux (Yocto or other).
  • Fluency in at least one of Golang, Python, C, C++, or Rust programming languages.
  • Ability to manage a small team and work collaboratively.
  • Experience with customer engagements and professional communication skills.
  • Professional written and spoken English language skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, curiosity, flexibility, and accountability.
  • Result-oriented, with a personal drive to meet commitments.
  • Ability to communicate the business benefits of technology to stakeholders.

Other desirable traits include RTOS experience, additional programming languages, and previous experience working in a remote-first, diverse, distributed company environment.
