Job Opportunity: Contract Specialist

This is a full-time position within the Clinical Operations team, focused on study start-up and clinical trial management processes.

The successful candidate will play a key role in advancing project starts, utilizing their expertise to drive contract negotiation and agreement preparation.

This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Prepare, negotiate, track and finalize contractual agreements, including Confidentiality Agreements, Clinical Trial Agreements, Budgets and Letters of Indemnification.
  • Manage all required contractual agreements with investigator sites, ensuring timely distribution, negotiation and finalization.
  • Identify potential risks and roadblocks, implementing proactive strategies to mitigate these challenges.
  • Develop and maintain contract approval timelines, collaborating with investigators to ensure timely approvals.
  • Maintain regular communication with project teams and sites regarding contractual requirements.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure client deliverables and expectations are met.
  • Provide updates on site contracts and efforts to meet study timelines, as agreed by the study team.

Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in business administration, legal studies or life sciences, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience working with internal and external customers/vendors is essential, as is the ability to work independently with minimal oversight. Fluency in English is required, with proficiency in Portuguese desirable.
