Emergency Medicine Physician Opportunity

  • We are seeking 6.0 FTE emergency physicians to work in a modern hospital with advanced facilities.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for providing emergency physician coverage through nine shifts per day.
  • Candidates must have experience in laboratory, x-ray, ultrasound, and CT services available 24 hours.

  • A degree from the College of Family Physicians of Canada or general practice is required; CCFP certification is preferred.
  • Applicants must have up-to-date ACLS, ITLS or ATLS, APLS or PALS, and advanced airway training/course necessary.
  • A valid Class of Registration from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC) is acceptable.

  • A flexible scheduling policy allowing physicians to set their own schedule to some extent.
  • A competitive compensation package determined by the provincial alternate payment plan agreement.
