Emergency Physician Role in a Friendly Community Hospital

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine physician to join our dynamic team at Delta Hospital, located in the heart of Ladner in South Delta. Our hospital is committed to providing high-quality patient care and offers a unique opportunity for physicians to work in a friendly community environment.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing emergency medical services to patients, including assessing patients' conditions, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Certificate of Registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia
  • Proof of Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) coverage
  • Current certification in Advanced Life Support (ALS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated expertise in emergency medicine, preferably with experience in a community hospital setting

Delta Hospital is a 64-bed community hospital offering medical, surgical daycare, outpatient chronic disease management clinics, extended care unit, palliative care, as well as 24/7 emergency services with 44,103 visits annually.
