Job Title: Legal Data Protection Specialist

The United Nations Human Settlements Programme is seeking a Legal Data Protection Specialist to support the implementation of its Social Territories Programme in Rio de Janeiro.

The successful candidate will provide technical advice and assistance to ensure compliance with data protection regulations and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the programme in implementing data protection measures, preparing and reviewing products, and ensuring alignment with work plans.
  • Research and provide information on data protection best practices, as well as systematize and exchange successful practices with other offices.
  • Maintain records of programme activities, issues, and risks, and attend meetings and conferences to strengthen project presence.
