  • The Data Protection Specialist will provide technical guidance and support the execution of activities related to data protection in accordance with our programme's objectives.

  • This role requires close collaboration with operational, technical, and communications teams, as well as local project teams, government officials, media, donors, and civil society organizations.

Responsibilities:

  • Development of a risk management plan to ensure compliance with data protection regulations.

  • Creation of technical proposals for mapping and data inventories to be used by the programme.

  • Identification and analysis of legal instruments that require modifications to adapt to the General Data Protection Law (GDPR).

  • Preparation of Data Protection Impact Reports (DPIRs) on social assistance and infrastructure.

  • Development of Personal Data Classification Plans with detailed information and suggestions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in data protection and privacy law.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
